When ExxonMobil declared force majeure for polypropylene from Lillebonne on 22 May, following a “breakdown beyond our control”, it illustrated how even the largest multinationals can be caught by surprise and in this case, customers will be affected until the end of June 2014.

It’s one of the reasons that many  customers who have their own Ambient and Cryogenic Milling capabilities keep coming to Zartu. “Our customers appreciate the option of having Zartu supplement their own in-house capabilities. ” says Michael Griffiths, Zartu Managing Director. ” Not only are we there for a rainy day when our customers need a contingency plan, but we also provide them with incremental capacity to help with sudden demand or a specialist milling request. Zartu prides itself on being agile enough to meet short-notice requirements. It’s the kind of service and value that keeps our customers coming back” added Griffiths.
